Guided Tours can be for one day or multi day adventures. Multi day tours usually include equipment, meals, an interpretive guide and accommodations. Self guided wildlife tours are enjoyed when engaging in an outdoor activity like hiking, kayaking, canoeing, backpacking, fishing, sailing and boating. Wildlife are never guaranteed on a self guided tour, but many times nature finds you and there are wildlife sightings.
Marine wildlife guided tours travel by kayak, zodiac, floatplanes and cabin cruisers. All marine tours, usually,
have an interpretive guide to talk you through the experience of
what you are seeing.
Land wildlife tours are also located on Vancouver Island. The means of transportation for a wildlife tour varies. Transportation options for tours include horseback, atv, and mountain bikes.

Bears, dolphins, whales, cougars,
hawks, owls, sea lions, Bald
Eagles, elk, deer and marmots. Best times to view wildlife are during the early morning hours and an hour before dark.
