Land

From Victoria (South Vancouver Island) : Travel north for 295 kilometres (183 mi) to the community of Ucluelet. Begin from Victoria and travel north for 111 kilometres on Highway #1 to the community of Nanaimo. From Nanaimo continue traveling on Hwy #19 (main Island Highway) north for 37 kilometres to the community of Parksville and Qualicum Beach. Look for the Exit #4 to Tofino\Ucluelet. Take it. Continue traveling Hwy #4 for 146 kilometres (90 mi) to Ucluelet.

From Nanaimo (Central Vancouver Island) : From the BC Ferry Terminal in Nanaimo drive to the main Island Highway. From Nanaimo continue traveling on Hwy #19 (main Island Highway) north for 37 kilometres to the community of Parksville and Qualicum Beach. Look for the Exit #4 to Tofino/Ucluelet. Take it. Continue traveling Hwy #4 for 146 kilometres (90 mi) to Ucluelet.

From Port Hardy (North Vancouver Island) : Travel south for 238 kilometres on Highway #19A to the community of Campbell River. From Campbell River continue traveling on Hwy #19 (or travel the Oceanside Route) south for 50 kilometres to the community of Courtenay. Continue south on either highway for 62 kilometres to Qualicum Beach and Parksville. Look for the Exit #4 to Tofino/Ucluelet. Take it. Continue traveling Hwy #4 for 146 kilometres (90 mi) to Tofino.

Air

There is an small airport servicing private planes and charter planes north of Ucluelet (22 kilometres) on the Pacific Rim Highway. Float planes are also a popular mode of air travel used in traveling to and from Ucluelet. Float planes depart from the waterfront in Ucluelet Village.

Ocean

There are boat tours and chartered yachts arriving in Ucluelet from all over the coastline. There is also a pedestrian only cargo vessel / cruise boat that travels from Bamfield to Port Alberni to Ucluelet. Check local schedules.
