A third of the reserve is federally and provincially protected parks, conservation and ecological reserves. Clayoquot Sound World Biosphere Reserve is heralded by scientists from around the world as the greatest remaining tract of temperate coastal rainforest left on the planet! Yup, and we are proud of it. Tofino, BC - also known as "Tough City" - is the farthest west you can drive in Canada before falling into the Pacific Ocean. And what a beautiful scenic drive it is.
