Saratoga Beach Saratoga Beach is a beautiful, recreational sandy beach located in the community of Saratoga Beach on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. The sand and pebbled beach is over a 1.5 kilometres long and covers the entire waterfront of the small ocean community. From one end to the other, the beach is a popular beachcombing, birdwatching and walking destination. enjoyed by locals and visitors. The beach connects to all of the waterfront resorts in the community. The north end is anchored by a private marina and the south end by Miracle Beach and the Miracle Beach Provincial Park. The beach destination enjoys great marine views of the ocean, the coastal mountain range and the Sunshine Coast. The shores of Saratoga Beach are littered with logs and driftwood. The ocean waters are shallow on Saratoga Beach. It is an ideal beach destination for families and children. And during low tides the ocean waters recede way back revealing tidal pools and plenty of more sand providing plenty of room for children to play. Often many are seen building sand castles and playing in the tidal pools. How to Get to Saratoga Beach First travel along Hwy #1 to the Comox Valley located south of Campbell River and north of Parksville on Vancouver Island, British Columbia Canada. From the community of Courtenay in the Comox Valley travel north on the the Inland Hwy (Oceanside Route) 25 kilometres (16 Miles) to Saratoga Beach. The turn off to Saratoga Beach to look out for while traveling the Inland Hwy is the #144 exit. Follow the signs to the community and the waterfront. |
