Saratoga Beach

Saratoga Beach is a beautiful, recreational sandy beach located in the community of Saratoga Beach on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. The sand and pebbled beach is over a 1.5 kilometres long and covers the entire waterfront of the small ocean community.

From one end to the other, the beach is a popular beachcombing, birdwatching and walking destination. enjoyed by locals and visitors. The beach connects to all of the waterfront resorts in the community. The north end is anchored by a private marina and the south end by Miracle Beach and the Miracle Beach Provincial Park.

The beach destination enjoys great marine views of the ocean, the coastal mountain range and the Sunshine Coast. The shores of Saratoga Beach are littered with logs and driftwood.

The ocean waters are shallow on Saratoga Beach. It is an ideal beach destination for families and children. And during low tides the ocean waters recede way back revealing tidal pools and plenty of more sand providing plenty of room for children to play. Often many are seen building sand castles and playing in the tidal pools.
