Botanical Beach. A sightseeing, hiking and backpacking adventure destination popular for tidal pools and inter tidal marine life. The rocky beach is part of the, much larger, 1,528 hectare Juan de Fuca Provincial Park. [ more information ] |

French Beach. A 59 hectare park established in 1974 in honour of an early pioneer who lived in the region named James French. The park highlights include a 1600 metre sandy beach, a day use area and marine views overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic Mountains. [ more information ] |

Juan de Fuca Park. Park is 1,528 hectares of forested hiking trails, rocky cliffs, sandy beaches and ocean scenery. Activities include hiking, backpacking, swimming, beachcombing, picnicking, wildlife watching, sightseeing and wilderness camping. [ more information ] |

Pacific Rim Park. Pacific Rim National Park consists of three sections... Long Beach, Broken Islands and the West Coast Trail. The whole Pacific Rim area encompasses over 13,000 hectares. West Coast Trail. A very popular 5-8 day hiking adventure. It is a 74 kilometre (47 mile) backpacking and wilderness camping adventure on the west coast of Vancouver Island. Trailhead entrances are in the communities of Port Renfrew and Bamfield, BC.[ more information ] |

Carmanah Walbran Park. A wilderness park with day hikes and backpacking adventures. The 16,450 hectare recreation park accounts for 2% of the "Old Growth Forest" still standing in the province of British Columbia. [ more information ] |
Fairy Lake Trail. A BC Forest Recreation Site with wilderness campground and sandy beach. Some of the activities enjoyed at the lake include hiking, swimming, camping, canoeing, mountain biking, picnicking, suntanning and fishing. There is a 2 kilometre hiking trail. [ more information ] |

John Quinn Trail. A 4 kilometre hiking and sightseeing trail through a forest. The trail is part of the forestry history in the region. . It is considered an easy hiking route. It should take no longer than 2 hours to complete. [ more information ] |
Lizard Lake Trail. A BC Forest Recreation Site with wilderness campground and sandy beach. There is a 1.5 hiking trail. Some of the activities enjoyed at the lake include hiking, swimming, camping, canoeing, mountain biking, picnicking, suntanning and fishing. . [ more information ] |
Red Creek Fir Trail. The largest standing Douglas Fir tree in Canada is at the end of the 14 km dirt road. Not suitable for cars as many areas are over grown. Mountain bike or walk access only. The tree is estimated at 800-1000 years old and is 41 feet round. 3 km drive south of Port Renfrew to gravel road turnoff. |
Len's Creek Trail. 3.8 kilometre trail
through untouched rainforests surrounded by long
standing western hemlock, red
cedar and sitka spruce trees. Many perfect swimming holes. Located just south of Lizard
Lake. |
Harris Creek Camp Trail. A good 6 kilometre loop trail filled with adventure exploring forests, fording rivers crossing creeks leading to the remains of a 1920's logging camp. Located at the gravel pit off the Granite Creek Main Line Road south of Port Renfrew. |
