Land

From Victoria (South Vancouver Island) : Travel north on Highway #1 for 60 kilometres over Malahat Mountain into the South Cowichan region and then into Duncan. Continue north of Duncan to Hwy #18. Exit onto the Lake Cowichan Highway ( Hwy #18 ) and drive 30 kilometres (18 mi.) to the village.

From Port Hardy (North Vancouver Island) : Travel south for 238 kilometres on Highway #19A to the community of Campbell River. From Campbell River continue traveling on Hwy #19 (or travel the Oceanside Route) south to Nanaimo. Continue south on either highway from Nanaimo for 50 kilometres to Duncan. North of Duncan is Hwy #18. Turn here onto the Lake Cowichan Highway ( Hwy #18 ) and drive 30 kilometres (18 mi.) to the village.
