- Salmon Fishing: Bamfield fishing
is intense and often fishing limits are reached with your eyes
closed. Salmon and Halibut are the catch of the day, with bottom
fish as a healthy backup. You see the boats head out in the
early Pacific Ocean mist at 5 AM, coffee in hand, and then,
they cruise back in at noon fish in hand already preparing for
the evening BBQ... smiles a beaming.

mud hike over roots, through lush rainforests and over logs
leading up to one of the nicest private sandy beaches on the
West Coast of Canada. Keeha Bay Beach is often deserted and,
get this, beach wilderness camping is permitted. We have done
this hike many times, it is a favourite because it is challenging
but short with a big reward ... the amazing Keeha Beach. Pack
out, what you pack in please! Creek available for water, better
to pack it in though.
- Beach Worshipping: Pachena
